Catch a Fire

1. In general, what did you like and dislike about the film?

first of all, I loved the locations and the production, after several related movies I have been familiarizing with the scenarios, the houses, or the detail of the fire truck, it is that kind of things that generate a coherent reality.
I like the way in which the character is built, although we know that it is based on the real life of Chamusso, the plot is built in a great way, the protagonist's refusal to enter the conflict and his call to fight is something powerful to see. I like the development of the characters and the scenes of torture or the persecution in the factory are really intense.

2. Who was the character you like the most and the character you liked the least in the film? Why?

My favorite character was Nic Vos, you always need a good antagonist character, in this case, without Nic there is no story, because thanks to their actions are those that move the motivations of the protagonists. c
In this film I do not have a character that was so out of keeping with me as to think negatively, but I could talk positively about Chamusso, I love his narrative arc, his interpretation and I like that one can already make an image among all the films.  .. I would call it the MCU the Mandela Cinematographic Universe.

3. What was the role of Samora Machel, the FRELIMO, and revolutionary Mozambique in the struggle against the South African apartheid? Use examples from the film and the biography of Samora Machel

He was a fighter for the struggle against the racism, he was involved in the FRELIMO where he becomes a commander. Also was the first Mozambique president, he supported and allowed revolutionaries fighting white minority regimes in Rhodesia and South Africa to operate within Mozambique.
